Wren Consulting begins each search with an initial client survey and in-depth consultation meetings. The goal is to understand the culture, priorities, and mission critical nature of a search, sharpen the profile by which candidates will be evaluated, and most importantly, unify the hiring team on a common vision for the successful candidate.

Research

Wren Consulting conducts deep market research according to the candidate profile and connects with candidates by networking, referrals, and cold outreach. Interviews in multiple phases and presents fitting and interested candidates to the client. Feedback from the client is essential in this phase for further profile sharpening. 

Engage

Clients engage with candidates of interest in their own interview process. Wren Consulting coordinates and supports all interview scheduling and follow-ups, as necessary. 

Navigate

Because of relationship building early in the process, Wren Consulting is poised to navigate the final negotiations, references, and closing of candidates.

David Wren has over a decade of experience in recruiting and executive search primarily serving the technology and SaaS industries. Serving start-ups seeking their first hires to more developed companies needing impactful leadership and dynamic sales professionals, David is the trusted search partner for growing tech firms to find the best client-facing professionals.

He brings a unique and relational process to executive search, seeking the “why” and “how” for both clients and candidates rather than simply matching experience to requirements.

David lives in Franklin, TN with his wife, Nikki-Dee, three children, and three dogs. He leads a men’s Bible study ministry and operates Wren Consulting on Christian principles.
